We stayed here for two nights to visit Carowinds, which is just a short walk away. The location was great, and we enjoyed the convenience of nearby gas stations and Cracker Barrel for dining. However, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with old carpets and questionable hygiene in the room. The breakfast options were limited, but the pillows were comfortable, which made our stay a bit better despite some shortcomings.

The room was clean and had comfortable bedding. The TV provided plenty of channels for entertainment, even if it felt a little small. I liked the soft, thick towels in the bathroom. However, I noticed there wasn’t a tub, which was a letdown. We found the breakfast to be decent, with bagels, eggs, and pastries. The coffee was surprisingly good. The staff greeted us warmly, and that added to the positive experience. Unfortunately, housekeeping knocked on our door early even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign out. Nonetheless, the location near Carowinds was fantastic for our plans. I’d consider coming back, given the overall comfort and service!
